3rd Thermal and Fluids Engineering Conference will be held March 4–7, 2018 at College of Engineering and Computing (CEC), Carl DeSantis Bldg, Nova Southeastern University, 3301 College Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33314.

You can reserve the nearby hotels for your conference stay.

The conference host hotel:

  • Hyatt hotel (be sure to include NSU code for the discount)

The shuttle bus will be available only for the host hotel Hyatt to take you to and from the Nova University on March 5th (Monday), March 6th (Tuesday) and March 7th (Wednesday) 2018.

  • From Hotel (Hyatt Place) to Nova Southeastern University (NSU) Campus
    Pick-up time: 7:30AM
    Location: front of the Hotel, 8530 West Broward Boulevard
    Pick-up Duration: 7:30AM to 9:30AM (last trip should reach NSU before 9:30AM)
    Drop off-location: Carl DeSantis Building, Nova Southeastern University, 3301 College Avenue #8, Davie (in front of Art Statue)
  • From Nova Southeastern University (NSU) Campus to the Hotel (Hyatt Place)
    Pick-up time: 5:00PM
    Location: Carl DeSantis Building, Nova Southeastern University, 3301 College Avenue #8, Davie (in front of Art Statue)
    Pick-up Duration: 5:00PM to 6:30PM (last bus from NSU campus to Hotel should leave at 6:30PM)
    Drop off-location: front of the Hotel, 8530 West Broward Boulevard

Parking garage map and additional parking information is available at weblink. The parking is available for $1/hr. and unfortunately no electric charging station are currently available for electric cars at the parking garage.

There is no shuttle bus at those hotels and you would need to take a taxi or uber from there to the Nova University.

UBER is the fastest and most comfortable way to commute from Fort Lauderdale Intl Airport to NSU Campus. While taking UBER just mention Nova Southeastern University and it will drop you to the campus. Rates are as below:

SFEC/ Tri-Rail Express
The public transportation is available from Ft Lauderdale Intl airport to South Florida Education Center (SFEC) by SFEC/ Tri-Rail Express (free shuttles available from airport to SFEC). SFEC includes Davie campuses of Nova Southeastern University (NSU), Broward County College (BCC), Florida Atlantic University (FAU), McFatter Technical Center, and University of Florida (UF) Davie Campus. Stops at NSU are located on the north side of the DeSantis Building, at the Shepherd Broad Law Center, and the Health Professions Division Center. For More information, visit weblink

Broward County Transit
