CALL FOR PAPERS

The 2017 American Society of Thermal and Fluids Engineers (ASTFE) Conference and 4th International Workshop on Heat Transfer (IWHT) will be co-located and held April 2-5, 2017 in the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, NV. The conference and workshop provide an international forum for the presentation of the latest research and knowledge as well as for dissemination of high-quality research and development results in the thermal and fluid sciences.

Authors are invited to submit abstracts covering, but not limited to the topics listed here for the ASTFE2017 and the IWHT2017 conferences

The conference will also host a number of symposiums and forums. The current list includes:

  • Low GWP refrigerants within the context of Kyoto Protocol
  • Heat Transfer Issues in Concentrated Solar Power (CSP)
  • Cloud Computing in Computational Fluid Dynamics and Heat Transfer
  • Heat transfer issues in photovoltaic cells
  • Teaching thermal-fluids engineering: modern (flipping the class, etc.) vs traditional teaching
  • Bridging the gap between the R&D discoveries and their implementation

We are also open to suggestions, if you like to organize one, please email us to info

Authors will have options to present their research work as presentation only, extended abstract (maximum of 4 pages), or full-length paper. The conference proceedings will contain both peer-reviewed extended abstracts and papers, and will be distributed in a digital form, ASTFE Digital Library. Authors will also have the option to submit their conference full papers to a technical journal of their choice after the conference. The conference full papers should have significate changes made before submitting to any journals. The same conference full paper cannot be submitted to any journals publication. Authors may share their original manuscripts with public but must include a citation and a link to the published paper (conference paper or journal paper).
